A legal workshop to help prepare the property manager (who has just taken on full responsibility for a portfolio) to face some of the common legal challenges. This workshop will be based around a fictional block and a copy of its specimen lease and RMC client Articles will be provided to all delegates for “pre-reading”.
The workshop will address the following from a legal perspective :
- New business meeting – RMC takeover, RTM, RTA liaison
- New development action points
- New instruction lease – critical points for your building “manual”
- Breach of lease in an “airbnb” subletting scenario
- Alterations
- Arrears recovery
- Assignment of a lease
- Preparing for your evening AGM
