SUSPENSION OF ARMA TRAINING FOR MARCH AND APRIL 2020
After careful monitoring of the development and the spread of Covid-19 taking into account the health and safety of our members and employee’s, we at ARMA have taken the decision to suspend all training courses with immediate effect until the end of April 2020.
For those who have booked places to attend our training courses we will refund payment back to the card used at the time of booking.
New courses dates for all our training courses will be arranged in due course, and we will circulate these by the usual means which does mean that you will need to re-book to attend the training courses.
I am sure that you will also support us in this difficult decision that we at ARMA needed to prioritise the health and safety of all and minimise the spread of the virus.

Description
Drone technology has revolutionised property management over the last few years. They are used now for tasks such as inspecting roofs, surveying elevated surfaces, documenting construction projects and even for virtual tours and photography to market the property. If you want to start using drones are part of your property business in the UK, you will need to gain a Permission for Commercial Operations from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). ARMA has partnered with COPRTZ, the commercial drone experts, offering a CAA approved Drone Training Course which will allow you to gain the skills, knowledge and experience needed to apply for your Permission for Commercial Operations (PfCO) from the CAA. (otherwise known as a drone licence).

COPTRZ fully approved CAA Drone Training Course takes place over four days and includes a pre-course study guide, ground school theory, a theory test, flight test and operations manual review.
Day 1-2: Ground School
The first two days of the COPTRZ CAA Drone Training Course will cover your theory learning and theory assessment. Your trainer will take you through the full 8 modules required by the CAA, after which you will complete a multiple choice examination.

- Aircraft Knowledge

Day 3: Flight Planning & Operations Manual
The third day of the course covers everything you need to do to plan for a live job. It will also offer you an insight into getting your commercial drone business off the ground. Your trainer will walk you through the process of completing pre-flight planning, safe setup and site surveying. They will also talk you through the flight assessment process.
Day 4: Flight Test
The final day is your flight test where you will complete a set of manoeuvres before a COPTRZ trainer and answer questions about your drone.
Audience
This course is for residential property managers who have little/no experience of drone piloting, but wish to incorporate drones into their workflow to assist in property management, as well as other property professionals, including surveyors, maintenance, landscaping and roofing contractors, who need to perform site-wide or roof inspections.
