We’re working exclusively with a reputable Freeholder who is on the lookout for someone to join their growing team. Your role as their new Assistant Property Manager will be to assist the Estates Team in overseeing the Managing Agents that have been instructed to manage their national portfolio. You’ll therefore be communicating with the agents day to day to ensure their upholding their management agreements and expected service standards.
Key responsibilities will also include:
Overseeing performance of appointed agents including renewal of management agreements and approval of budgets
Liaising with agents with regards to any estate related queries
Auditing Leases to ensure data is correctly reflected on property management system
Post completion of a new site, inputting property data and notifying leaseholders accordingly
Dealing with any post completion enquiries raised by leaseholders
Liaising with insurance brokers with regards to any property/estate queries raised
Implementing rent reviews required as per terms of Leases
Assisting the Estates Manager with all aspects of day to day estate queries and estates management
Managing all consent matters on flats and houses within our portfolio, liaising with Leaseholders and agents
Proven administration experience
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent organisational skills
Ability to prioritise own work load
Able to work to deadlines
Proficient in MS office (Word and Excel)
Strong written communication skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent telephone manner
Able to work independently or as part of a team
Minimum A-C grade GCSE
This position is paying a competitive salary of £24,000- £26,000 DOE plus a good holiday allowance and the chance to work client side in a great office culture where progression over time is available!
Desirable Requirements & Traits
Industry related qualifications such as IRPM / RICS / IOSH
Previously worked experience within the property sector
Easy going personality
