Located in a vibrant borough in North London, our office is modern and open plan with a roof terrace and some pretty amazing views of London! You will be surrounded by culture. With a wide selection of restaurants, shops, theatres and fitness centres (we have our own fledging five-a-side football team and are involved in many fitness charity events!).
Our team is driven, close-knit and we work in a fast-paced environment. We all pull together to achieve common goals, drive the business forward and we very much work hard as a team. And, yes, our office dog is a part of that team!
We have a refreshing approach to operating within this industry, with our ethos and operating procedures all being based around transparency and providing a quality service to our clients and customers. We really do value our staff, we recognise their importance. We know that we wouldn’t be able to do any of this without them and so we listen to our staff and our Associate Directors operate an open-door policy. We want to ensure you’re engaged and most importantly, happy, in your role.
Now, due to a very busy summer of continued growth, we are now looking for a new Assistant Portfolio Manager to join our team.
As our new Assistant Portfolio Manager, you will be supporting our team and assisting in the day-to-day management of the Portfolio Directors’ portfolio of properties. The portfolio will compromise a mix of property types and you’ll be working with a variety of different clients. You, alongside the Portfolio Director are the point person on everything to do with the properties, although there is a team in the background to support you, such as accountants. The portfolio is growing quickly so candidates should be looking to work in a fast-paced environment and be keen to develop with the company.
We consider the Assistant Portfolio Managers to be the beating heart of our team, as ultimately, you’re the centre of all coordination!
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administrative side of Portfolio Management which will include typing, undertaking mail merges, answering the phone, directing calls, dealing with clients and contractors, arranging meetings and appointments, updating spreadsheets and preparing weekly/quarterly reports. You will also be responsible for more of the hands-on Portfolio Management duties which will include liaising with residents, contractors and clients, managing and coordinating repair works, assisting with budget preparation and assisting in the management of all Health & Safety and Fire Risk Assessments. This position requires a high degree of organisation and attention to detail.
