Block Assistant Property Manager - Essex

£16,000 - £18,000 - Block Management

A well-established, growing company with an expanding portfolio and a wealth of experience in the property market.
 
Duties and responsibilities:
 
  • Supporting the Property Management Team
  • Dealing with leaseholders enquiries appertaining in the development in a professional and efficient manner (telephone and/or letter)
  • Handling telephone calls and correspondence and dealing with queries in an appropriate manner
  • Record keeping and maintaining all company records
  • Organisation and co-ordination of marketing/mail merges
  • Maintaining ongoing list of works in progress in order to ensure that nothing is neglected and so an activity report can easily be produced on request
  • Site inspections as required
  • Attend site meetings, which may require you to leave home to be on site prior to normal working hours
  • Appointing contractors and overseeing works to a high standard
  • Approving invoices for payment
  • Debt management/debt letters
  • Creating new client files (Propman and Company File)
  • Ensure all properties in the portfolio are insured including dealing with renewals and any insurance claims
 
On offer is a salary between £16,000 - £18,000 pa dependent on your experience.  There is opportunity to grow and progress your career with a company who value their staff. We train all employees through IRPM qualifications and time to study and learn with other team members.
 
Full training will be provided. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good literacy and numerical skills and the ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
 
Working hours are: Monday – Friday working from 8:30am to 5.30pm with 1 hour lunch break, in addition to a time in lieu policy, for any hours worked outside of core hours to attend AGM’s and Directors meetings (if applicable).
 
Requirement for weekend mobile phone on-call emergency cover (rota basis) as required. 
 
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays. After successful passing of probation period option of entering into our Private Healthcare Policy.
