Block Manager - South London

£35,000 - £40,000 - Block Management

A national group of property experts are currently searching for a leasehold expert to join their South London office. They have a strong Block Management presence in Central London but now need to bring this to another branch of theirs, covering more areas with ease and continuing excellent levels of service all round.

As their new Block Manager, you’ll take on a portfolio of residential buildings which will cover a range of stock across South London. You’ll be responsible for preparing and managing service charge budgets, processing major works that involve section 20 notices, heath & safety, minor day to day maintenance, contractors and their works, AGMs, fire safety, leasehold and client communications and conducting regular site visits. Experience and confidence in these duties will be key and will ensure long term working relationships with all points of contact.

The company will work with you in providing the best possible service and you’ll be in close contact with their London based leasehold team which includes junior support staff to Senior Block Managers and Directors. You’ll be positive and hardworking, and this company will fully support you through further qualifications with the IRPM and RICS, something they actively encourage their team to get involved with!

Minimum Requirements

As least 3 years’ experience in Residential Block Management
A full working knowledge of service charge budgets, section 20s and H&S
Excellent communication, IT, customer service and organisation skills

Desirable Requirements

Industry specific qualifications such as the IRPM, RICS, IOSH or NEBOSH
A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

Salary Range & Benefits

This position is offering between £35K - £40K depending on experience plus 30 days holiday and support through qualifications with the IRPM.
