We’re currently working with a small yet steadily growing company to find their next Block Manager, someone who understands the industry, has some hands-on Block Management experience and get take over a few blocks within their portfolio with excellent management standards in mind!
This is a small yet close-knit team who enjoy working collaboratively to achieve the best possible standards at all times in a fun, lively office. Their portfolio has been growing steadily since they established 5 years ago and they’re keen to make sure the team don’t end up over worked as they feel it’s too common in Block Management that PMs are loaded with a huge portfolio, standards then start to slip, and PMs no longer feel valued or supported.
Their aim is to keep standards high while building a team who share the same values and can continue to enjoy a positive company culture. Most of their portfolio covers Greater London and they also have a couple of Blocks on the South Coast. The aim of this Block Manager is to initially take over a few blocks which will then build into a full portfolio.
In this role, you’d be conducting site visits, booking in maintenance works, communicating with leaseholders, clients and contractors, assisting on service charge budgets, planning major works projects, processing section 20 notices and attending AGMs/client meetings. This role will be really hands on and will expose you to a great portfolio, the company also aim for their new Property Manager to grow with the brand into a senior role in time!
Minimum Requirements
  • 2 years’ experience in the Block Management industry
  • Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills
  • A full UK driving licence, pool car provided by company

Desirable Requirements
  • Industry qualifications such as the IRPM, IOSH, RICS or NEBOSH
  • Previous experience working on a freehold portfolio
Salary Range & Benefits
This position is offering £30K - £35K depending on experience plus extensive training, support through your IRPM qualifications and a positive work place and company culture.
