A Manchester based hub of Block Management expertise is currently on the lookout for the next
Property Manager
to join their team of well trained, passionate and friendly individuals. If you pride yourself on the excellent level of customer and technical service that you provide in a Block Management role then this could be the team for you, they truly share that mindset!
They’ve described themselves as a go to Managing Agent for the
Block/Leasehold sector
. As well as managing portfolios for both Developers and Residential Management Companies (RMCs), they offer consultancy services to new build blocks during their initial handover/snagging phases. This vacancy has come about due to a steady rate of expansion, but their Directors say they’ll never become one of the larger, corporate firms as they intend to keep their portfolios at manageable sizes, therefor ensuring the level of service remains consistent across the company.
As their perfect new
Block Manager
, you’ll have at least 2 years’ experience in the Residential Block Management sector and will be confident in dealing with both Freeholder and RMC clients in your new portfolio of around 800 units across 6-8 developments. You’ll be competent in setting and managing service charge budgets, processing section 20 notices, overseeing major works, organising and hosting AGMs and ensuring H&S compliance and well-kept communal areas across all developments, focusing on the best possible Client/Leaseholder services at all times.
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years’ experience in Residential Block Management
Previous experience preparing Service Charge Budgets and processing Section 20 works
Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills
IRPM/RICS qualifications are desirable but not essential

Salary Range & Benefits
This position is offering a starting salary of between £25K - £30K depending on experience.
