Is working from home currently a farfetched dream? Completely accountable for your own workload, able to get your head down and focus on excellent levels of customer service? Well it might not be as hard to find as you may believe! We’re currently seeking a talented part home based Block Manager to join a lively, driven team in South Yorkshire. You’ll be home based 3 or 4 days a week, working on a portfolio in the North West of England (Greater Manchester/Merseyside) and will also spend 1 or 2 days a week in the firms Doncaster head office to work with their Management, Accounts and Support teams.
They’re looking for someone with a few years’ experience in Block Management who’s ready to take on a new portfolio and hit the ground running. As the teams’ new leasehold superstar, you’ll be taking on a portfolio of residential blocks based around Manchester and Liverpool. You’ll be confident to take full responsibility for Service Charge Budgets, Section 20s, Insurance, Major Works, Day to Day Maintenance Orders, Regular Site Visits, AGMs and building strong relationships with Leaseholders, Clients and Contractors alike. You’ll work with a proactive approach to your daily duties, complete computer literacy and excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
With Offices in South Yorkshire and London, here you’d be part of a wider, growing team. The firms Director and Head of Property Management describe their team and positive, passionate, driven and hardworking, advising that there’s plenty of banter in the office as well as support and training from a varied team of Leasehold Experts. This is a big part of why you’d spend 1 or 2 days a week in the office, they want their new Property Manager to feel part of the family while benefiting from their support networking and ongoing training. They develop from within and would support you through qualifications such as the IRPM for a long-term career together.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing Residential Leasehold Portfolios
  • A full UK Driving Licence and your own vehicle
  • Excellent customer service, communication and IT skills

Desirable Requirements
  • Industry relevant qualifications such the IRPM, RICS or IOSH
  • Experience managing a similar portfolio and working from home
  • Knowledge of the North-West region
