£35,000 + Bonus Scheme - Block Management

Our client specialises in Block and Estate Management. They manage blocks nationwide and have grown their business based on excellent communication with their clients and taking a more proactive approach to managing blocks and their specific needs.

About the job

Our client is looking for a Team Leader to join their growing block management business. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in block management and be a natural leader. Someone with up-to-date knowledge around all the new and changing legislations, like the current cladding reform and new fire safety bill to experience in managing major works. Someone with at least 3 years’ experience in block management and comfortable overseeing the work of our Block Managers and their portfolios.

They work remotely, there is no office base, so the role would suit someone tired of the corporate rat-race and doesn’t fancy returning to an office. You would need to be self-motivated and experienced communicating with their clients, ranging from developers, freeholders, resident management companies and right to manage companies, as well as new clients and their demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and leading their block managers and overseeing their portfolios, as well as being a point of escalation
Visit their blocks twice a year, carrying out inspection audits
Oversee compliance on all fire protection, health and safety and other relevant legislation.

Key Attributes

AIRPM / MIRPM qualified
3+ years industry block management experience
Natural leader
Strategic mindset and excellent communicator

Salary Range & Benefits

This position is paying a competitive salary of £35,000 + Bonus Scheme depending on experience.
