A dedicated Block Management agency in the heart of Birmingham are currently seeking a new Block Manager to join their hardworking team in overseeing their growing portfolio. They’re looking for someone who values high levels of service and wants to grow with them, taking on c.400 units in the Birmingham and Solihull areas.
They’re a young minded team who enjoy a flexible and positive workplace and support each other in everything they do. Although they’re a small team, they’re proud of their systems and processes and feel they’ll set the firm up well for future growth. They don’t believe in overloading their Property Managers so keep them on a reasonably sized portfolio to ensure excellent levels of service at all times without stress and overtime.
As their perfect new Block Manager, you’ll come from a few years’ experience in the Residential Leasehold sector and will be confident in managing your own portfolio. You’ll have previous experience preparing and managing service charge budgets, overseeing section 20 major works, conducting site inspections, hosting AGMs, H&S compliance and reporting to a mix of RMC/Freehold clients. You’ll also benefit from further training and support through industry qualifications.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 2 years’ experience in Residential Block Management
  • Excellent communication, customer service and IT stills
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle

Desirable Requirements
  • Experience managing RMCs/RTMs
  • Industry qualifications such as IRPM, RICS, IOSH or NEBOSH
  • Previous experience managing a Birmingham City Centre portfolio
Salary Range & Benefits
This position is offering between £27K - £30K depending on experience, extra time off over Christmas & New Year and free city centre parking.
