Role Purpose:
Leading efforts to establish and retain business growth opportunities within your Region of responsibility. Primarily obtaining new clients and fostering business relationships to increase revenue from new business sales.
Role Responsibilities:
With your Regional Director, develop a growth strategy for your region focused on both existing ‘add on business’, new business (new build and existing) in order to enhance revenue and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Pro-actively locate new business opportunities and arrange business connections with prospective clients
Manage the sales lifecycle from initial enquiry, to client pitches/meetings and collation of all relevant data to allow full upload at integration phase
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or forecasting clients’ objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to rules and guidelines
Keep accurate records of your targets, pipeline, sales & revenue
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing clients in your region
Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with Heads of Property Management and local teams, keeping up to date on work progress
Work with your Regional Director and local Heads to determine the reasons for profits and losses
Promoting a culture of growth through sales across your Region
Educating Branch Heads and PM team members on best business practices and techniques for increasing effectiveness
Establishing and identifying the key accounts within your region to develop new working relationships and support for such key clients
Fostering familiar relationships between clients and the local PM team
Following up on client leads
Raising the company profile by attending local expositions, local commerce meetings and seminars
Suggesting new projects such as product development to tap into new markets
Assisting with investment and financial decisions to benefit the company
Being aware of market trends and competitors
Maintaining a positive attitude that inspires co-workers and clients to grow the business
Essential Experience:
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Ability to build rapport
Proven sales track record
Well-developed interpersonal and oral communication skills
Market knowledge
Ability to work on own initiative
Good literate and numerical skills
Diplomacy and negotiation skills
Desirable Experience:
An understanding of Residential Property Management and current legislation
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office
Communication and negotiation skills
Time management and planning skills
BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field
