Caretaker - South West London

£25,000 - £28,000 - On-Site Management

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00, and every other Saturday 08:00 - 12:00

Purpose of the Role:

Working on a residential site in South West London as their Caretaker, your role will be to act as the eyes and ears of the site, reporting into the Property Manager. Working to ensure the site is well maintained, providing a clean and secure environment for residents and guests at all times. To demonstrate and uphold company values in all aspects of your work and communication, developing strong relationships with the residents and enhancing the overall quality of the site. You'll be working as part of a team of 3 and will need to have people management experience as you'll be managing them day to day.

Main Responsibilities:

Maintaining open lines of communication with the Residents and the Property Manager
Liaise with and provide access to authorised contractors and tradesmen, notifying the Property Manager of completion of work accordingly
Monitoring contractors on site
Report defects / incidents (either observed or reported) and take the correct action after consultation with the Property Manager
Maintain accurate records of maintenance / lighting issues
Ensure all grounds and communal areas are kept clean and tidy
Carry out daily walk arounds to ensure upkeep of the site
Carry out monthly lighting and fire alarm tests
Keep daily log of site
Taking out and collecting the bins
Small decoration and repair jobs (if necessary)
Work in accordance with the company's Health & Safety Policy
Any adhoc tasks as instructed by management

Salary Range & Benefits

This position is paying a competitive salary of £25,000 - £28,000 depending on experience.
