Client Side Property Manager - North West London

£45,000 - £55,000 - Block Management
Ref: 430 Date Posted: Monday 22 Jan 2018
Do you feel that you’ve hit a level in your Block Management career and don’t know where to go from here? Don’t worry, you’re not the only one, many Senior Block Managers we speak to are undecided whether to progress onto a Team Leader type role or to consider different options. If you’re in the same boat then we’ve got a great alternative option available!

Working Client Side is a highly desirable move for any property professional, stepping away from day to day management and overseeing instructed managing agents on Leasehold Blocks. This type of role, combined with an employer who’ll support you and value your dedication, could be the perfect next step and just the sort of challenge you’ve been waiting for to mix things up!

This highly regarded firm, who look after a national portfolio for various investors, are currently searching for a new Property Manager to join their team. Don’t be fooled by the job title, you won’t be doing the standard duties of a PM in this role, you’ll be overseeing the companies that do and ensuring their service is to the best possible standards at all times. Occasionally supporting Leaseholders who escalate management issues will keep your customer service skills fine tuned and visiting sites where needed/meeting with managing agents will make the most of your technical background, making sure you don’t lose the skills you’ve spent years building up. Extensive knowledge of service charge budgets, section 20 major works and all relevant regulations are also a must as you’ll be making sure the people in charge of these areas are doing their jobs properly!

The team are a passionate one, working hard to hit deadlines and achieve goals together. As you’ll already know, dedication and hard work are needed in any field of property and this company channel their passion through this work ethic. Although the company are now large in size, their Leasehold Management team are tight-knit and work closely with the Managing Director of the company, ensuring a positive culture in the workplace. They see busier times throughout the year which are always lively and enjoyable, celebrating the companies’ success and recognising individuals. If you can see yourself joining a Freehold/Leasehold Asset Management specialist where you’ll enjoy your work alongside like-minded people, then this could be the step forward you’ve been waiting for!
