Concierge (Luxury Development) - Hampshire

Our Client believes it takes someone special to foster a community as well as ensuring the smooth running of one of their beautiful retirement developments. No two days are the same, this position offer variety and the chance to make a difference.
 
You will be working on one of their luxury retirement developments in Brokenhurst. Your role will be to support the day to day management of the development. You will be the key interface between apartment owners, renters and your employer. You will develop lasting relationships with the residents and their families who will enjoy their homes, the community and the lifestyle. You will bring together a strong sense of community within the development and deliver a great customer experience.
 
You will be the first person the residents turn to. From finding a cleaner, devising and organising social events such as monthly cream teas or summer BBQs, providing information about “what’s on” in the area and local walks as well as helping with many of the little things life throws at them. You’ll focus on creating a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
 
You’ll also be your employers “person on the ground”. The one who makes sure everything is ready for move-in day, ensures an effective maintenance service is provided and keeps the records and events diary up to date to let them know what’s happening.
 
In addition to this, you will build a strong relationship with the Property Management company to ensure the development is maintained to the highest standard.
 
Recap on duties:
  • You will build a sense of community by hosting events on site such as coffee mornings and BBQs
  • You will be the person on the ground for the employer, ensuring the smooth running of the site day to day
  • Ensuring the site is a nice place to live for the residents
  • Managing maintenance contractors to ensure any works are carried out promptly and to standard
  • Testing alarm systems on site, conducting site walk arounds and ensuring health and safety
 
Minimum Requirements
 
  • You’ll be intuitive and creative
  • You’ll be flexible, empathetic and friendly
  • You’ll be able to build relationships with the people living in the development
  • You’ll be professional, organised and proactive, always putting the customer first
  • You’ll have customer facing experience, having delivered high standards
  • You’ll possess high level communication and interpersonal skills
  • You’ll have a calm approach to pressured situations, using your initiative to find solutions
  • You’ll have excellent IT skill with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Experience of Google Workspace is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
 
Desirable Requirements
 
  • Experience in a similar customer facing role on a residential development

Salary Range & Benefits & Hours
 
This position is paying £20,892 plus a great benefits package. The hours are 09:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday.
