We are working with a large and experienced Residential Property Management business who are now searching for an Estate Manager to join their team and oversee one of their prestigious sites in North London. You will be responsible for managing a complex new build scheme as it undergoes further construction on its latter phases.
 
As the development manager, you will be responsible for being the face of the development and will be a diplomatic leader, strong communicator, have a strategic and proactive approach to management and the ability to take on the operational accountability for the development, including compliance, health, safety and wellbeing, service excellence and value for money.
 
This will include ensuring all employees (both direct & indirect reports) on site provide an efficient, value for money management service to the residents and achieve high standards of performance within a team of individuals to create a welcoming, friendly and courteous environment for the residents.
You’ll need to be passionate about delivering consistently high standards of customer service, ensuring the development is well maintained and demonstrate full compliance with company policies, procedures and internal performance measures. Your ability to create and maintain strong internal & external relationships will be key, as well as leading and mentoring a team and providing 5 star service to residents at all times.
You will be an experienced and knowledgeable Property Expert with a track record of managing budgets, section 20 processes, overseeing major works projects and facilities management to the highest standards. You will have experience of staff management, the ability to lead and mentor a team and ensure high performance levels are consistently achieved. You will be authoritative and diplomatic, able to communicate confidently when conducting staff, contractor, resident and client meetings.
In the challenging world of Property Management, you will be calm under pressure, a good problem solver, analytical, a good multi-tasker with the ability to help those around you.
 
Minimum Requirements
 
  • Comprehensive understanding of the principles relating to Health and Safety regulations and Residential Landlord & Tenant legislation.
  • Hands on experience of service charge budgeting, section 20’s processes & Major works.
  • Demonstrable experience of managing people & delivering an exceptional customer service.
  • Confident, articulate communicator – both orally and in writing.
  • Able to build relationships with all types of customers and clients.
  • Able to work with autonomy and as part of a wider team.
  • Efficient in maintaining administration and record keeping electronically.
  • Demonstrable ability dealing with problems and challenges effectively.
  • Ability to work under pressure deadlines, able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent IT skills, social-media awareness and up to date with new technology.
  • Demonstrable experience with multi schedule budget preparation and management

Desirable Requirements      
 
  • Experience with the Mobilisation of New Blocks
  • IRPM or RICS Qualified
 
Salary Range & Benefits
 
The salary of offer is between £40,000 - £45,000 PA depending on your experience and qualifications. The working hours are Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. There is also a benefits package on offer. Get in touch for further details.
