Facilities Manager – Hard Services and M&E - South Yorkshire

A well-established Residential Block Management company with a passion for outstanding levels of service are currently seeking a new Facilities Manager to oversee all hard services and M&E across their portfolio of leasehold blocks. With residential developments in Yorkshire, the North West and across London, this firm have been steadily expanding over the past few years and now need a new team member to work alongside their Block Managers in all things M&E.
In this role, you’d be visiting new sites that join the companies’ portfolio alongside Property Managers and Directors, assessing all M&E and hard services, setting up contracts to maintain said aspects of the buildings and assessing all Health & Safety requirements alongside the Property Managers. You’d be working closely with an Assistant who focus’ on Heath & Safety across the full portfolio and also supports the admin side of this FM role. Whenever major works arise across the portfolio, you’d also provide technical support to the Property Managers throughout the section 20 process.
Their ideal new Facilities Manager will be experienced in M&E, hard services, setting up contracts for a range of buildings, H&S, major works/refurbishment projects and working across multiple sites. You’ll have a keen eye for detail and strong communication/IT skills are necessary in this role. Flexible working is also on offer, working 2 days a week in the office and the rest from home/field based.
Desirable Requirements
  • A strong background in hard services Facilities Management and M&E
  • Previous experience setting up contracts for onsite M&E facilities
  • Ideally IOSH qualified, NEBOSH and MBIFM also highly desirable but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence and your own vehicle
Salary Range & Benefits
This position is offering a competitive salary of between £30K and £33K depending on experience and qualifications but further support through professional memberships and training.
