Head of Block Management / Head of Property Management - Central London

We’re currently on the hunt for a Head of Block Management to take the day-to-day reins of an award winning, premium Managing Agent in heart of Londons leasehold sector. They believe in nurturing talent and that will be one of your main duties as their new Head of Property Management, continuing their passion for staff engagement and retention that sits so perfectly alongside outstanding levels of customer service. The autonomy and finer details of this role will depend on you as the successful individual and your particular strengths, the directors of this brand are not looking to bring just anyone in to manage their team, you’ll become an instrumental part of the operation and they appreciate that this level of appointment takes tweaking and a few meetings over coffee (or cocktails) to achieve perfection.
 
You’ll sit between the Directors and their existing Senior PMs, managing a team of 14 leasehold professionals and overseeing their continued success. You’ll gain exposure to operational management, business accounts/financial structures, the ins and outs of expanding a Block Management department, marketing, all the best industry events and what it takes to be considered one of the top names. As the Head of Block Management, you’ll work closely with their Operational Director and for the first 6 months of this exciting new role you’ll work with their current procedures, assessing and evaluating their methods and the teams approach. After your initial period of settling in and getting to know your new home, you’ll then be involved in all aspects of the firm and your fresh ideas will begin to be implemented along with the continued support of the Directors.
 
Now, let’s talk about the exciting world of New Business Development! If you’ve gained experience in canvasing and tendering for New Business or it’s an area of Block Management you feel confident and well connected enough to thrive in then all the better. As a key player in this firms progression, their new Head of Property Management will become a big part of New Business planning, joining the Directors in reaching out to potential clients, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with high end Developers and making sure the best possible matches are made for long term management appointments as this approach has been crucial when building their excellent reputation.

Sought After Requirements
  • An extensive background in High End Block Management
  • Previous experience in strong team management and developing potentials
  • Experience in or the confidence/contacts to work on New Business Development
  • Industry relevant qualifications such as MIRPM or AssocRICS
  • Passion, determination and the desire for a rewarding new challenge

Salary Range & Benefits
