Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will oversee a number of departments managing the group’s entire portfolio. The role will involve ensuring compliance, devising strategy for improvement, income generation and management of internal departments. A proven track record of successful Block Management, exemplary technical and industry knowledge along with a demonstrated use of initiative are essential to succeed in this role.
Working closely with the Team Leaders to ensure the departments are performing; devising strategies for improvement and additional revenue generation.
Oversee the management of the portfolio and the various appointed agents, RMC’s and RTMs. Ensuring those managing entities are compliant with statute and regulatory best practice through the effective collection and analysis of data.
Devising and implementing health and safety/ risk strategy for the managed portfolio to ensure risks are mitigated.
Drawing upon experience to provide support and advice to the teams and third party managing agents where matters are escalated.
Reporting to the Managing Director on potential liabilities, projects and overall management of the portfolio.
Provide management support to the insurance team, assisting with annual renewals and escalated matters.
Keeping abreast of legislative or regulatory changes and cascading this information down to the relevant teams.
Meeting with both existing and potential managing agents to further business relationship and where necessary audit compliance.
Complete quarterly staff 1-2-1’s. Ensuring the development and progression of staff.
Minimum of 5 years block management experience (acting as a senior PM or department manager).
Minimum of 3 years people management required.
MIRPM/ Chartered Surveyor qualification.
A driven and hungry individual who demonstrates strong leadership qualities and a passion for property management.
Extensive technical knowledge of block management and leasehold legislation
Knowledge of the commercial perspective of the role.

Salary Range & Benefits
This position is paying a highly competitive salary of £50K - £55K + benefits which include professional membership subscription, referral schemes and bonuses.
