Our Client is a well-established Block Management business delivering services to developments, estates and clients throughout London and the South East.
They are now looking for an Office Manager to join their passionate, vibrant team in Kent. They’re a social team working in a creative, supportive, collaborative environment.
They are looking for an experienced, professional candidate who can add value to their team. Someone they can trust to manage the day to day running of their office and oversee their team.
As their Office Manager, you will work closely with their senior management team and take a lead in the smooth running of their office and internal operations. This position is suitable for persons with prior office management experience of at least 2 years. This is a challenging and rewarding role where you will be required to think outside the box, use your initiative and show off your leadership skills and find a solution to any problem.
The role is office based, with your work station being based in an individual office at the company's head quarters with the flexibility to also work in the main office when not dealing with confidential matters.
Responsibilities will include:

Taking the lead on matters relating to office/company health & safety/HR policies and reporting to senior management on such.

Working closely with senior management to assist the development and implementation of office procedures, staff HR administration, coordinating staff training, on-boarding and induction of new staff and general staff matters.

Assisting with staff management across all departments including on-site staff members.

Act as central point of referral for colleagues and refer matters to senior management as required.

Processing office invoices, internal expense claims and raising invoices.

Assisting the Director with all business-related matters as and when required.

Instructing payroll additions/amendments each month.

Providing IT and telephony support to all members of staff.

Oversee and maintain office equipment with assistance from the Office Receptionist for uninterrupted function, identify and fulfil office supply needs, maintain and manage office suppliers being the main point of contact for suppliers and ensuring office supplies are resourced and restocked.

Ensure that the office environment provides a safe and engaging experience by maintaining office policies and managing health and safety procedures.

Manage all aspects of the office’s space/infrastructure planning (moves, adds, and changes to workstations) and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested.

Work with senior management and their internal Social Committee concerning the organisation and roll out of staff activities, events and catch-ups/ team meetings.

Have an interest in the property management sector and a willingness to learn

Literacy with the full Microsoft Office suite

HR and H&S experience is desirable

Experience with accounting software Xero is beneficial
Salary Range & Benefits
This position is paying a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000, depending on experience, plus benefits.
