Part-Time Service Charge Accountant - Home Based

£30,000 Pro Rata - Accountancy/ Finance

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Monthly Reports for Leasehold officers
Prepare monthly service charge accounts with relevant commentary
Year-end account reconciliations
Hold monthly meetings to ensure expenditure is accurately coded
Preparing annual service charge budgets
Prepare audit files; organising and monitoring audit; dealing with audit queries
Responsible for month end & year end routines including balance sheet reconciliation for all managed properties
Issuing s20b letters where accounts have not been issues within 6 months from year-end
Compiling packs of financial reports and sending to the Directors quarterly
Resolving any pre audit queries with the Property Managers
Setting up new properties onto the system
Dealing with lessees and clients queries
Preparing account packs to send to auditors
Dealing with refund requests
Raising service charge demands

Minimum Requirements

Minimum of 1 years within Block Management accounting
An eye for detail
Strong knowledge of Excel (at least to intermediate level)
Effective communicator

Desirable Requirements

Ideally you’ll be a qualified or part qualified Accountant

Salary Range & Benefits

This position is paying a competitive salary of £30K Pro Rata depending on experience.
