You will be joining a small but well-established Block Management team based in Croydon, they manage a portfolio across London and the South East of England. With a vast and diverse stock of properties, no day is ever the same. They are now looking for a passionate and hardworking Property Management Assistant to join the team.

This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door in this challenging industry, whilst also getting the opportunity to learn on the job, work closely alongside experienced Property Managers and progress further with industry training.

The company wants to make sure that their Block Managers are out there providing the best hands-on service to their clients. As a result, there is a strong support team in place - that’s where you come in. You will be supporting a Block Manager with a range of duties such as with administration, organising maintenance works, liaising with contractors, involving & dealing with leaseholder queries to ensure that they are able to focus on the specialised technical matters and site-based tasks.

Your help will be invaluable, and it will give you a great opportunity to learn as much as you can whilst working closely with an experienced team.

Tasks will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing exceptional levels of customer service to clients
  • General written correspondence
  • General telephone correspondence
  • Diary management for the Block Management team
  • Local office premises administration
  • Assisting Property Managers with record keeping for:
    • Site inspections and onsite works
    • Compliance and Health & Safety
    • Section 20 Notices
    • Service charge Budgets
    • Monthly Branch Reports

The ideal candidate will be positive, hardworking and customer focused. They will be an effective team player, take pride in their work and enjoy providing an excellent service to their clients. Strong organisation & communication skills are also pivotal to the success in this role. As a smaller team, you will be expected to be flexible in your approach and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Minimum Requirements

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Property & Administration Experience
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience in Word, Excel & Outlook
  • A willingness to learn, ambition and drive!

Salary Range & Benefits

The salary on offer is between £20,000 - £25,000 PA. To achieve the highest salary, you must have experience in Block Management & Administration.
