A good few years of Block Management and many find that they’re ready for a new challenge, a change of day to day duties and a step forward within the industry.
We’re currently on the lookout for a confident, experience Property Manager to join a freehold management company based in South Yorkshire. They look after freehold portfolios up and down the UK for investors, appointing managing agents on residential/retirement developments and overseeing their work on an ongoing basis on behalf of the freeholder. As their driven new Property Manager, you’ll be working alongside senior management on new property investments as the client acquires them, selecting the right managing agent for the developments based on accreditation, location and specific requirements and then handing the properties over to the selected agent. Within the ongoing management, you’ll take regular reports from the instructed agents, using your experience as a Block Manager to ensure they’re meeting the Clients’ needs and complying with all relevant legislation. Regular reporting to the Client is a key part of this role and you’ll need to be professional and accurate in your work.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years’ experience managing residential leasehold portfolios
  • IRPM qualified, RICS/IOSH/BIFM are also of interest
  • Confident in reporting to clients and overseeing external parties
  • Excellent communication skills on all levels and good IT skills

Desirable Requirements
  • Previous experience working client side/on a freehold portfolio
  • A strong track record of reporting to clients at a high level of service
  • Experience managing retirement portfolios
