What will joining this company do for your career?
Support through industry related training and qualifications
The chance to work with a forward-thinking company at an exciting point of growth
You’ll be able to gain a lot of hands on experience with a varied yet high-end portfolio
Historically, we’re a smaller company although we now have the support of a larger, reputable brand that has strengthened us as a team in terms of knowledge and resources. We manage a high-end, varied portfolio as a team and ensure only the highest levels of service are delivered.
We’re a company that invests in our staff and gives back for their hard work and dedication. We support all employees through industry related training and qualifications, attending industry seminars and conferences. We offer a day working from home every other week to give you the flexibility you need when managing a portfolio and offer a day off in lieu for every 4 AGMs. We also award our employees with a bonus on major works and best of all, we finish off our week on a Friday with a pub lunch and 4pm finish (although some choose to work later!).
Due to a recent win of new business, we’re looking to take on an additional Property Manager. You will be managing a mainly RMC led portfolio of around 30 developments, comprising c400 – 500 units. Your portfolio will be made up of some more classic converted Victorian and Georgian builds, some beautiful historic Grade II Listed buildings and a few purpose built blocks. We are also starting to take on more new build schemes so there would be the chance to take on more as our portfolio grows.
Therefore, your role as one of our dedicated Property Managers will include; carrying out development inspections as necessary, managing relationships with clients and residents, attending meetings, preparing and managing budgets, sourcing contractors and managing works and ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and all industry regulations.
You must be level headed with a calm nature. We’re looking for someone that has a bit about them, but someone that can remain in control and focused when under pressure.
Our office is laid back and relaxed. We’re a small yet growing team and our employees are all long-standing members of staff. We’re a very close team and work as one so you can always rely on the support of our team in what can sometimes be a high-pressured role! We have 8 hardworking people that form our Property Management Team, 1 Office Manager that controls admin and the exchanging of keys (our process is air-tight!), and 2 Maintenance Coordinators that react to all works and repairs. We’ve got strong processes in place, allowing business to run smoothly.
2 years’ Block Management experience.
Excellent customer service skills.
A proven track record of budgeting and account management.
Previous experience of contract management.
An understanding of leasehold property legislation.
Attention to detail.
