Property Manager - West London

£25,000 - £30,000 - Block Management
Ref: 390 Date Posted: Tuesday 09 Jan 2018
We are an enthusiastic, dynamic, hardworking team of professionals. Senior Management possess decades of experience in Property Management and our team are very proactive and hands on. We are a smaller, specialised team which means we are more able to focus on the quality of service and have the expertise and skill set to deal with all matters at hand. We pride ourselves on being able to build and maintain strong working relationships with our clients to enable us to be able to provide a professional, effective management service. But most importantly, we care about what we do and we have a passion for the job!

Our offices are located in the heart of the very beautiful Notting Hill with easy access to transport links. With our offices being so central, it ultimately means we are close at hand to ensure the smooth running of sites under our management. It also means we can be on site promptly should an emergency arise.

In our office, you’ll find our young, dedicated team of 6. Our office is relaxed yet focused and you’ll usually find our Head of Property Management cracking a joke or two! We put the importance on getting things done but we also understand the importance of taking time out as a team. After all, we know the role of a Property Manager can sometimes be stressful! We’re a friendly, family-like team and this can see us going out for a few drinks on a Friday afternoon to give ourselves a pat on the back for what we’ve achieved that week and enjoy socialising with colleagues.

So, what are we looking for? We’re looking for a Property Manager to join our small but growing team. Your role will be to manage a portfolio of residential properties (c20 buildings comprising no more than 10 units per block). With the portfolio being made up of smaller unit blocks, it is therefore an ideal position for someone that is currently working as an Assistant or Junior Property Manager, looking for a step up and the chance to manage their own portfolio. It is however just as great for an established, more experienced Property Manager wanting to provide a great service for a more manageable portfolio!

Your role as our new Property Manager will therefore include preparing and managing budgets, overseeing and managing major works projects, managing contractors, issuing Section 20 notices, attending AGMs, carrying out site visits and responding to enquiries from both leaseholders and clients.

Minimum Requirements:

·         1 – 2 years’ Block Management experience
·         A working knowledge of Service Charge budgets and Section 20 notices
·         Ambition, drive and a willingness to learn

Desirable Requirements:

·         Experience in managing your own portfolio
·         Industry related qualifications such as IRPM / RICS
·         Industry related degree

Salary Range & Benefits:

This position is paying a competitive salary of £22,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience).
