sector is one of those seeing rapid growth and we’re currently recruiting for a Commercial Property Management firm who are stepping into the world of Leasehold!
With a small but growing residential portfolio already behind them, this firm are seeking a Block Management expert to join their well-established team and help them in developing this relatively new arm of the business. They’ve already got the systems and processes in place being a well-respected, successful name in commercial property, and they can now implement these in
Block Management
with their productive admin and accounts teams. With two property managers looking after mixed portfolios to take care of their small leasehold portfolio, this new role would be to take over what’s already in place and work with company directors in making things happen!
As their perfect new
Senior Block Manager
, you’ll have built up a strong level of experience In the Private leasehold sector and will be confident in managing a range of buildings from city centre new builds to older blocks and conversions. Service charge budgets, site inspections, reporting to clients, arranging and hosting AGMs, managing section 20 major works, coordinating day to day maintenance works and health & safety compliance will make up your day to day as well as working with senior management in growing the firms residential portfolio, identifying developers and RMCs to approach and presenting to them to win the business.
Minimum Requirements
At least 3 years’ experience in Residential Block Management
Previous experience managing complex residential developments
A background in setting/managing Service Charge Budgets, Section 20s and AGMs

Desirable Requirements
Previous experience bringing in New Business in Residential Block Management
A strong understanding of and good connections in the Birmingham property market
Industry qualifications such as IRPM or RICS, IOSH/NEBOSH also desirable
Salary Range & Benefits
This position is offering a salary of around £35K per annum depending on experience. This may be negotiable for the right person and could also include financial rewards for new business activity!
