Senior Property Manager - Essex

£30,000 - Block Management

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking brand who know that their staff are their most important asset. Due to ongoing success and the demand for their services (they are now managing thousands of properties across East Anglia, London and the South East of England), they are now searching for a new Block Manager who is looking to join a team of likeminded professionals.

What is important to our client is that the new Property Manager be an outgoing, friendly and positive team player. The company very much work as a close-knit team, so being willing to lend a helping hand to a colleague, being a good communicator in addition to having a good sense of humour are all good things that will help you to be successful in this role.

As their new Property Manager, you will effectively manage and provide a full Property Management service to an assigned portfolio of residential developments. This will include carrying out site inspections, preparing service charge budgets, managing works, issuing Section 20 notices, dealing with contractors and attending AGM’s.

You will need to be customer focused, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service at all times. Their portfolio continues to grow due to the excellent service that they ensure is provided. Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years’ Block Management experience, managing your own portfolio
A full working knowledge of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985
Experience in preparing budgets, the s.20 consultation process and chairing AGMs
Excellent customer service skills – the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and residents alike!
