Service Charge Accountant - South West London

Service Charge Accounts require a combination of accounting expertise, customer service skills and client reporting. It’s a role within the Block Management sector that’s made for the organised upholder of excellent standards. We’re currently on the hunt for a Service Charge Accountant to join a well-established team in South West London.

They currently have an accounts team of 6 and this role has come about due to their ever-expanding portfolio of Residential Blocks across London and Surrey. This role will combine working on Service Charge Budgets and Year End Accounts alongside Block Managers and Senior Management as well as a little Lettings accounts and general company accounting/credit control.

The ideal candidate for this role will combine a strong background in Leasehold Property Accounting with excellent organisational skills, the ability to pick up new duties quickly and the ability to work to tight deadlines around year end. You’ll support the companies financial side and will have a can-do attitude as well as strong communicational and customer service skills.

Minimum Requirements

At least 3 years’ experience processing Service Charge and year end accounts
Experience assisting Leaseholders and Clients with Service Charger queries
Excellent IT, communication and organisational skills

Desirable Requirements

AAT or other accountancy qualifications
Experience processing general and AST accounts as well as Service Charge

Salary Range & Benefits

This position is offering a competitive salary of £25K - £30K depending on experience plus holiday, pension, expenses etc. and a stable firm who look after and progress their team for the long term.
