Service Charge Accounts Manager

To manage the team’s responsibility to carry out the day-to-day job and ensuring SCA duties are delivered on time and to the required KPI’s, as below:
Preparation of Client Service Charge Accounts within deadlines and in accordance with industry regulations.
Preparation of Client Reports within SLA deadlines.
To file statutory returns with Companies House.
Preparing and filing tax returns with HMRC.
Preparing accounting data for external accountants.
Analysing handover information.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following;
Managing the performance of the team on a daily basis.
Setting formal weekly targets for the team.
Carrying out formal 1 to 1s with the team on a monthly basis.
Heading up regular team meetings.
Continuous training of team members.
Quality checking the work produced by the team.
Establish and maintaining relationships with key clients and external accountants.
Preparation of S/C accounts and client reports for key client and complex sites.
Resolution of complex queries.
Maintaining excellent communication with the other business departments.
Preparation of weekly progress reports for the Client Service Manager.
Heading up a team, the ideal candidate must have management experience. Plus, an excellent knowledge of property management and preparation of service charge accounts.
We’re looking for someone with at least 3 years’ management experience, and ideally with a professional qualification, e.g. ACCA, ACA, CIMA, AAT, etc.
