Unite Students has secured planning for 2 new student developments, in Birmingham and Sheffield, totalling 1186 student bedrooms.

The Birmingham City Centre scheme at International House, is situated alongside Unite’s existing development ‘The Heights’ and will rise up 14 storeys and house 586 student bedrooms.

Unite’s Sheffield scheme involves the full refurbishment of St Vincent’s Church, located next to Sheffield’s main city centre campus. The development will consist of 600 student bedrooms and other facilities.

These latest planning consents take Unite’s total development pipeline to be 6,500 beds, delivered over the next three years.
