Join us at our unique event to join like-minded professionals to discuss and solve key industry issues over a light breakfast followed by a networking lunch. During the morning, you will have the opportunity to listen to a keynote speaker followed by an open, thought-provoking boardroom discussion examining the issue in depth.

This Boardroom Brunch, hosted by Judge & Priestley Solicitors, will discuss the challenges faced with service charge collections. Some of the areas that will be covered include:

Recovery of landlord costs.  Do you recover 100% of landlord costs? If not what are the challenges that prevent you from doing so?

Are you consulting correctly on major work projects where there are intermediate leasehold interests?

What are the typical service charge challenges? and how to address them – for example repair/improvements, historic neglect

What are the problems and solutions where the demands are not sent in accordance with the lease

We will explain recent and relevant case law for example, Leaseholders of Foundling Court and O’Donnell Court [2016] UKUT0366(LC) and Willow Court Management v Alexander [2016] UKUT 290 (LC).
