2nd Phase Plans of 700M Salford Site Go Before Planning Chiefs

The first phase of a substantial urban village scheme on the Middlewood Locks site in Salford, was approved last year and included 570 new homes and some substantial commercial units.

Plans for the second phase go before planning chiefs on the 15th December 2016. The plans include another 550 new homes spread across four towers of between eight and ten storeys each. Future plans for the site include creating 2200 new homes, 75,000 sq.metres of commercial space along, retail units and a hotel.

Scarborough Group is heading up the project with BCEGI handling the construction
