We’re currently recruiting for a small firm in Portsmouth who’re seeking their next Property Manager, taking over a portfolio of c.500 units and working with an experienced team of Block Managers, Support Staff, Accountants and Senior Management. As a company, they feel they go the extra mile for the clients and leaseholders and offer a close knit, positive workplace to their employees.
As their new Block Manager, you’ll cover the full process including section 20 major works, service charge budgets, health & safety audits, AGMs (time off given in lieu), working closely with contractors on minor and major works, providing excellent communication to leaseholders and freeholder/RMC clients and conducting Fire Risk Assessments etc. You’ll work closely with the entire team who support each other on their portfolio, truly working with a “one team” mindset.
Their Director has built the team over 15 years and remains very much involved with his own portfolio of clients to manage, making sure he’s still on the ground with his team, never ending up too far removed to support and train everyone. Their portfolio has continued to grow steadily and organically over time, all located in the Portsmouth & Southsea region. They’re looking for a new team member who values the same high standards they do and who also enjoys a good laugh with their colleagues!
Previous experience managing a residential leasehold portfolio including service charge budgets, section 20 major works, AGMs and client reporting
Excellent communication, IT, organisational and customer service skills
A full UK driving license and your own vehicle

Salary Range & Benefits
The salary for this role is flexible depending on experience and qualifications, the company are initially looking at anywhere between £25K - £35K. They also support their team through IRPM qualifications as well as paying for business parking permits
