You’ll be provided with all the tools and support needed to seamlessly transition into your new position as a Block Manager.
We are now on the lookout for an experienced Property Manager to join this dedicated team in their Central Brighton office. You will be responsible for the management of a diverse portfolio (c.700 units) of residential & mixed-use blocks and estates on behalf of Freehold clients, RMC’s and RTM Companies located across Brighton and the surrounding area.
In your role, whilst working closely with the Block Management team you will be responsible for directly managing an Assistant Property Manager and Administrator. Your role will include carrying out site inspections, preparing service charge budgets, issuing Section 20 notices, dealing with contractors, attending AGMs and handling maintenance for the entire portfolio.
Our ideal candidate will be adaptable, have good experience in the management of residential and mixed-use blocks and a wider knowledge of the leasehold industry. You will have a good understanding of relevant legislation, keen to develop your career and progress through industry qualifications. You will be a part of a close-knit team and part of a larger office set up so you must be a good team player and effective communicator.
Experience within block management
Experience managing residential blocks
A full working knowledge of Service Charge budgets, Section 20 notices and relevant law/regulations (Landlord & Tenant Act 1985).
Experience in chairing AGMs and carrying out site inspections
A full UK driving licence

Salary Range & Benefits
In return for your hard work and commitment you will be rewarded with a salary between £30,000 - £34,000 PA depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to this you will be provided with support through further qualifications (IRPM & RICS), as well as 22 days holiday plus bank holidays. The working hours are Mon – Fri, 9am – 5.30pm.
