Block/ Senior Block Manager - North London

Location: Borehamwood 
Hybrid: 1 day office-based per week, plus site visits
Salary: Up to £50,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Block Manager looking for a new challenge with a fantastic managing agent? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Block Manager to join our team in Southern Hertfordshire. Our company prides itself on a great working culture and offers a small, manageable portfolio in London, ensuring a balanced and rewarding workload.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential blocks in London.
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure properties are well-maintained and meet all regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with leaseholders, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
• Prepare and manage budgets, service charge accounts, and financial reports.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Handle maintenance requests, coordinate repairs, and oversee refurbishment projects.
• Attend AGM meetings and other relevant meetings as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience working as a Block Manager. Minimum 18 months experience. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
• Must be commutable to Borehamwood and willing to travel into London for site visits.
