Our client is a small but specialist Property Management Firm who manage solely Commercial property. They have an extensive portfolio of commercial properties across the UK and they require a
Property Management Assistant who can assist in managing their portfolio.
In this role you will be working closely with the Director in managing the portfolio, but you will be expected to work independently and with your initiative in order to proactively manage the portfolio.
You will receive training and guidance from Senior Management and they will always offer the chance to progress in line with your hard work and drive.
The role is heavily admin focused and the successful candidate will be required to have experience in working in a fast paced and highly organised environment. The role will provide you with the opportunity to learn “on the job” and get involved with Property management on the front line. A good understanding of Property Management & Maintenance is highly desirable.
Your duties will include:
Organising Buildings Insurance policies, organising property maintenance and repair, sourcing, vetting, managing & co-ordinating contractors in a timely and cost-effective manner, ensuring compliance by occupiers and arranging the same for communal areas or vacant units, submitting and preparing service charge accounts, responding to Clients and Tenant queries, enforcing arrears and lease covenants. You will be responsible for dealing with Utilities of vacant properties and communal supplies, which includes obtaining meter reads, sourcing and arranging best value contracts with suppliers.
There are other Secretarial and administrative duties encompassed within this role, these require good customer service, attention to detail, as well as strong multi-tasking and organisational skills.
You will be required to visit properties and vacant sites on a periodic basis, therefore a Driving Licence and your own vehicle is essential to this role.
