Job Title: Service Charge Accountant

Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

Location: Southampton, free parking on site. 

Hybrid Work Model: 3 days office-based, 2 days remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute ISA800 audit assignments and prepare Factual Findings Reports for our clients' service charge accounts in adherence to best practices.
• Review the work completed by junior team members, addressing queries, and providing support to clients.
• Contribute to the delivery of exceptional client service to our esteemed clients in the market.
• Approach tasks with an exploratory mindset, effectively identifying and resolving issues.
• Manage a large volume of accounts, adhering to established methodologies, and promptly flagging any concerns to clients and management.

Your Experience:

• Background and exposure to accounting and/or double-entry bookkeeping.
• Ideally, prior experience working within an accountancy practice.
• Ability and confidence to handle multiple sets of accounts with meticulous attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated capability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
