About the Role
We’re working with a well-established property business that is looking to bring a Service Charge Accounts Manager into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong residential service charge accounting experience who is looking to step into a role where they can really take ownership, add value, and be part of a supportive environment.
As Service Charge Accounts Manager, you’ll be at the centre of ensuring service charge accounts are accurate, transparent, and fully compliant. You’ll liaise with property managers, directors, leaseholders, and external accountants, making sure finances are clear, well-communicated, and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review residential service charge accounts in line with lease agreements and industry standards.
  • Reconcile income and expenditure and manage year-end service charge accounts.
  • Work closely with external accountants to meet statutory deadlines.
  • Forecast service charge funds and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Produce clear reports and communicate financial information to property managers, directors, and leaseholders.
  • Handle service charge queries with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with RICS guidelines and best practice.
  • Support the wider team and contribute to improving processes and controls.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is not only technically strong but also personable and proactive.
You will ideally have:
  • At least 1 year’s experience in residential service charge accounting.
  • Knowledge of leasehold accounting principles and relevant legislation.
  • Proficiency with property management/accounting software.
  • AAT or part-qualified ACCA (desirable, not essential).
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues, clients, and leaseholders.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

What’s on Offer
  • Competitive salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (experience dependent)
  • 21 days holiday + bank holidays (with additional time off over Christmas)
  • Company pension scheme
  • Paid training and professional development
  • Free on-site parking
  • Casual dress, team events, and a friendly, supportive working culture

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative environment but also wants the space to take ownership and make an impact in a growing team.
