SHOULD EMPLOYERS BE OFFERING MORE FOR EMPLOYEE WELL-BEING

At Block Recruit, we recently read a very interesting article by Mark Rodrigues, about the importance of employee well-being in the workplace. His article highlights how life of today typically means a more sedentary lifestyle, less sleep and more stress which is inevitably having a negative effect on employee’s wellbeing, and productivity in the workplace.

Mark follows on to say how many companies are now offering wellness packages and the effect it has on employees is that they are happier, healthier, less stressed, and form more positive works habits at the workplace. From the employer’s perspective; employees feel better connected to their company and colleagues, they feel encouraged to contribute and develop, and staff retention and productivity levels are enhanced.

With the block management sector being particularly stressful, should you be considering offering wellness packages to your employees?
